Halloween was AWESOME! I had a lot of fun!!!!!!!!

The Lions are playing the Bears right now, and THE LIONS ARE WINNING! Can you BELIEVE IT?

I love watching football! I hope The Lions win! That would be awesome!

I'm sad because the Sting Rays didn't win the World Series. I wanted them to beat the Phillies really badly. But, oh well.

I can't wait until November 21st! The movie "Twilight" is coming out! I can't wait to see it! I hope they make it right, though. I mean, the Harry Potter movies are pretty good. They're okay. I still like them a lot. Which reminds me, I also can't wait for Harry Potter 6 to come out as a movie! They moved the date back to, like, July 2009 because they wanted it to be released closet to the 7th one. AND they're making the 7th one in two parts, which is good because then they can make it a lot longer and it will be better.

I helped my dad in his new office today. He sanded the floor and and vacuumed the floor. He said that he'll pay me for it. He said he might give me enough for new jeans. I want to get some more skinny jeans. They're cool. So yeah.

I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Who answered "nah" on the poll???????????

It's totally my favorite holiday. I mean, everyone loves Christmas because you get a bunch of presents! That's not even what Christmas is ABOUT. Halloween is my favorite because you get to dress up in a costume and everyone has parties and stuff. It's SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THE CANDY!!!!! I'm not a HUGE fan of candy, but I like "runts" and I will trade almost ANYTHING from my whole candy load for a Hershey's bar.

The Bad Beginning

So, I'm re-reading the Series Of Unfortunate Events. I totally forgot the whole story behind the Quagmires, and VFD. Plus, that whole sugar bowl deal. I absolutely LOVE how Lemony Snicket writes. He's so funny. I really like the whole series. It makes me mad how they messed up the movie. But I think they chose good actors for Violet and Klaus. Especially Klaus. So, yeah.

Twilight

I love the Twilight books. Alice is my favorite character, but I like Emmett, too. Jacob is okay, he's pretty cool, but I like Edward a lot better. Edward is definitely better for Bella. I love Breaking Dawn. It's my favorite of the series, but I like Twilight (the first one) too. Eclipse is my third favorite, and then New Moon. I bought Breaking Dawn in Chicago. We were there with the McKnight's the day it came out. I read the first few chapters of it on the train ride home, but Ian and Caroline were making it difficult. (Ian, I'm sure you remember how you constantly wanted to get up to find the nearest funny water dispenser.)

Have you ever noticed how McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's and other fast food places all have drive throughs? And, furthermore, have you noticed how the people who work in the drive throughs are pretty hard to hear? I can't tell if the restaurants just have bad equipment or if they just aren't good at talking clearly. (NO offense if you're a fast food worker and you run the drive through.) Anyway, they always say stuff like "Would you like some fries with that?" Or "Is that all?" and stuff. My dad is really bad at ordering from those drive throughs. It's funny.

Scott and Betty

So, one time Zoe and I were on a camping trip with youth group, and it was there that we made up the "Party in the Outhouse" saying. We would go up to one of our leaders, whose name is Scott, and we'd hang on his shoulders and say "Party in the outhouse Scott. Party in the outhouse." and sound sort of drunk, and then we'd run away laughing. It was funny. We also do that one motion with your hands to show, like, "I'm watching you." You know, when you put two fingers up to your eyes and then point them at someone? Yeah, that thing. Well, we do it at Scott a lot.

Also, Zoe and I are in the process of putting a show called "Betty" on Youtube. "Betty" is about a hundred and three year old midget. She lives in a small house, and her outhouse is three miles away, and she's a slow walker so it takes her three hours to get to the outhouse. It's a comical series. Look for it on Youtube soon!

Do you have converse shoes? You should get some. They're awesome. I have a pair of black ones and a pair of cream colored ones, but the cream ones are a little to big. Themes and stuff

So, I realized that this blog might get kind of boring if I don't have a "theme". Now, I don't want this to be a "normal" blog either, where I just tell you about my day. (NO offense to people who have those kind of blogs. NONE at all. I just don't have the patience to make one myself.) SO, I think I should have a theme. Now, I have NO CLUE what the theme should be. Yes, I love the Jonas Brothers, but I don't want a blog about them. I bet there are tons of them, plus, if I wanted this to be about them, I wouldn't have named it "Party in the Outhouse". I also really like Harry Potter, but I bet there are tons of blogs about Harry too. The same with Twilight. I don't have any ideas yet, but I hope I come up with a good one. Until I think of a theme, I'm going to put a quote from a book or movie on here once in a while. Not on every post, but on some, just to, you know, freshen things up. Here's a quote for right now:

The Economy

The economy really sucks right now. (Sorry about the word 'sucks'. It just seemed like the only way to describe my point.) I mean, that whole tragedy on Wall Street and everything is really bad. I mean, I'm only twelve. This is MY future, and I don't want it to be filled with pollution and way too little real-estate value. Plus, global warming is a terrible issue, and not enough people who can say something care about it. The BPW wants to burn MORE coal, and that would NOT help the pollution problem.

When I was little, I always wanted to live in a big house with two cats and a family. And I mean a BIG house. As in MANSION. So, now, I'm afraid that by the time I'm old enough to get a job, there won't be any and I won't have very much money. Then I won't be able to afford a big house, let alone a MANSION. Me and my friends really have to step it up a notch and MAKE THE ECONOMY BETTER! I don't want my future to be like this, and neither should you.

Daily Life

So, here we enter day two of my blog's existence. I'll tell you a little bit more about my life now, but not too too much. So, my school starts at 7:45 (am, of course) and my first class is Spanish or Gym (our school rotates Spanish and Gym every other day) and then I go to Science. After Science I have Social Studies (History) and then a free period. I have the free period because I have PATH, a class at Hope College, for Comm. Arts (English) and it has a large work load. Then I head to Math, and then on to Lunch. (I hope I'm not boring you yet) After Lunch and outdoor time (It's not called recess anymore, sadly) I go to Band. I play the trumpet. Drama (Speech and Theatre) is my last class of the day, and the funnest. (Yes, I am aware that 'funnest' isn't a word. It's just a lot more fun to say than most fun.) After Drama I come home and do my homework. Homework is mainly responsible for the Outhouse part of the party of my life. It's dull. After homework I usually get together with one of my friends or something. Recently, the neighborhood has been playing Capture the Flag at seven every night. On Wednsdays, I usually go to Church Youth Group.

So, there's a day in the life of Billie Jean. It's a lot more fun than it sounds, trust me. Just like I said, my life is a party with lots of homework and some other problems, but mostly, it's a pary.

Poor Dad

Note to self: Dad should never put me on his shoulders again.

Yeah. So, yesterday, Dad and I were at the Pull (Hope College tug of war between the freshmen and the sophomores) and he put me on his shoulders so I could see better. He seems to have forgotten that I now weigh about ninety pounds, a lot more than the last time he gave me a ride. He now has a pinched nerve. Poor Dad.

Anyway, I'm Billie Jean (not really, I'm a Michael Jackson fan. My real name is Emma) And I just created this blog. (No duh.) I called it Party in the Outhouse because that's sort of my life. It's fun, just like a party, but it has it boring and bad parts, as if the party is in an outhouse. Thankfully, I have a good number of friends, so the party's always fun. Usually.

I'm a seventh grader. Yeah, it's fun, but I liked sixth grade better. Oh well. I'll live.

I could tell you all about myself, but I won't because there's a lot to tell and I don't want to bore you.
